PaGuest Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Hi all, I'm new to this site and need help from some fly fishing pros. I inherited an old box of fly fishing lures and I don't know anything about fly fishing. Could someone please tell me if these are worth anything or just old junk? Thanks so much! I can't seem to load the pictures here. If anyone knows anything about fly fishing lures. Please email me and I will paste the pictures that way. Thanks! Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted March 10, 2014 Super User Posted March 10, 2014 Are they lures or flies? there is a difference. I haven't seen to many flies worth anything unless they were made by a famous fly tier. Also it is very difficult to tell who actually tied a fly as materials and the skill to tie them are not that rare either. As far as lures go, they can be worth some money but i am not knowledgable at all in that realm. Quote
PaGuest Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 Thanks for the info. If you're interested in seeing the lures, please send me your email and I'll get you the pics. I cannot seem to upload the pictures here. Unfortunately I have no idea if they're flies or lures. I believe it's both. Quote
