I am looking for some new jigs with rubber skirts rather than silicone ones. I like the look and feel of a bulky rubber jig, and I like the way they work in the water. Maybe I'm just old school. Anyone recommend any decent ones? Thanks!

I like the River2Sea Junk Grenade Flat Rubber Jig, But check with Mike from Seibert Jigs to see if he makes them. He makes the BEST jigs I have ever seen.

Theres alot of custom guys that will do them for.you but why not learn to tie your own all it takes is a few simple tools. I make mine 120 strand 1/2-1/2 brown or black round rubber and various silicone to accent. They work great we caught 20 today on em.

I'm going to toot that horn because I really like them but check out the Siebert Jigs. He makes some great rubber skirted jigs. I prefer the ones that are both rubber and silicone.

Mata Jig from Siebert outdoors is a great jig with silicone and rubber. Siebert Outdoors also started selling the Dredge series with pure rubber skirts.

Buckeye makes some great rubber skirted jigs. you can get the mop or standard jigs. I'm with Fluke though the best are the blended skirts rubber and silicone.

Thanks guys! I have some Siebert jigs from last year that I love. I didn't know he offered some with rubber skirts, too. I will check them out. Any color preferences? Most of the water I fish is stained.

Siebert gets the nod on this site, good quality reasonable price.

Skinny Bear makes a good living rubber series jig.

*** jigs by Don Iovino via TW is a premium jig with living rubber skirts.

Depends on budget and quality....all the above are good.

Color; black & blue is preferred by 90% of the BR members, go online and take a look at what is available.
