dea Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 Thanks folks. I'm super excited. I was at one of my local lakes yesterday, hoping that these last two weeks of warm weather and rain would warm up the surface enough to drive some fish up and possible trigger some activity. After several visits since the end of Feb up till now, yesterday was the first day I witnessed surface activity...not a lot, but a couple of surface breaks over the course of an hour. The exciting part was that I decided to use my late spring and summer tactics just to see if someone would take notice. First cast, and a rather chunky largie ( poss. 3-5lbs ) follow my lure right to the boat and then took off. A good sign that they are starting to think about food. Quote
