There are many good articles on this site on pre-spawn Bass, I suggest you start reading them to get started. But you can always fish lipless cranks, flukes, or any moving bait during spring.

Early spring/pre spawn: jigs worked slowly, rapala cuntdown minnows, 78 size jerkbaits

mid spring/spawn : swimbaits, bladed jigs, spinnerbaits, havoc pit boss

late spring/postspawn: 7" berkley power worms, - anything that works the activity zone of the postspawn fish

Jerkbaits/flukes worked extra slow. jigs and trigged worms fished slow as well. Lipless cranks are also a go to if the conditions are right.

Mans calendar has winter, spring, summer and fall based on length of day light

Bass calendar has winter, pre sawn, spawn, post spawn, summer, fall based on water temperature and seasonal periods.

So what is spring?

Ain't nobody competing with White Mike's second bait listed. Thread over.
