It's an investment you buy good quality reels like those and you wouldn't have to buy another reel for 10-15 years unless you just decided to upgrade again. Have always owned Shimano Chronarchs and a few higher-end Shimano reels. These are the workhorses of the arsenal and hopefully the Ci4s will last for a few years. Quote
