Georgia-Alabama Line Fishing Locations

Looking for a few good recommendations on locations along the Georgia/Alabama line. I'm in Huntsville and my brother is in Atlanta so we're looking for a place to meet half way for a weekend fishing expedition.

Anyone got some suggestions?

I live on westpoint lake right on the line. pretty decent fishery. its about 3hours from you and 2 from your brother. feel free to shoot me a pm for any info on the lake if you decide to come down i fish it pretty regularly and can give you a few hints and spots for the current patterns

lake weiss is a great lake, with almost no boat traffic.  i'm heading there on a memorial day trip and cannot wait....  it's only about an hour and a half from my house in north atlanta.  also, i believe (you should clarify) that the fishing license is reciprocated in both states.  in other words, neither of you should have to buy a new license.  again, i'd double check that....

I live in the Huntsville area also.  My son lived in Atlanta and we used to meet at Weiss Lake (JR Marina in Cedar Bluff, AL).  It was about midway, and as stated above, is a great lake.
