Incheon Basser Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 any guesses to what it will be? check out there web page they have a flash ad that plays just once when you first arrive to the page. They have had a lot of Classic winning baits lately very very curious to see what is "in the water" on Feb 18th Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted January 22, 2011 Super User Posted January 22, 2011 It doesn't matter as long as it comes in at least fifteen colors! Quote
berkleyfan81 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 revo ur correct it the 5" jumbo chigger craw i ask twh and they said the only new Berkley bait there is for right now so i believe it can wait for it to come out they said in feb it supposed to come in . Quote
Incheon Basser Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 if it was just a 5" chigger craw then why the secret? plus that wouldn't be something new in the water it would just be a larger size of something already in the water Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted January 23, 2011 Super User Posted January 23, 2011 Doesn't the new chigger craw have legs now? Not much of a change IMO, but I'm sure it will fly off the shelves if it is part of a winning pattern. Quote

Chigger craw crazy legs? That is already in production, so like Incheon stated, they would just be releasing a larger version. Quote
TBendBassin Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 i believe it might be just a bigger chigger craw or some type of other flippin bait because bobby was talking about it on "Live Day On the Lake" Quote

Super User .ghoti. Posted January 24, 2011 Super User Posted January 24, 2011 I saw it at the Bass U in Nashville. Ike and Ish Monroe were throwing it in the pool. I WILL be buying some when they become available. It is not any version of a chigger craw, by the way. Quote

1inStripes Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I assume what Ghoti is mentioning is the bait Bobby Lane was referencing too also on his Day on the Lake recently. He mentioned he would be flipping a new bait from Berkeley that will be "awesome". Quote
Skeet22 Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 If I had to guess it would be some sort of Beaver bait. Quote

Super User Tin Posted January 25, 2011 Super User Posted January 25, 2011 No matter what it is or what they were really throwing I will guarantee whoever is sponsored by Berkley will say they were throwing it. Kind of like how KVD throws a lot of LC's. Quote

Exactly. Lane was asked that on Day on the Lake. He said sponsors had no problem with it, because they want their people to win, whether it be with their product or another. He mentioned a couple of baits he is not sponsored by, but throws a lot. Quote

airborne_angler Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Link to an assortment of pics of the Kasumi Craw. Shows how the bait appears in different colors as well: http://www.google.com/images?q=kasumi+craw&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi&biw=1034&bih=637 Quote
Revo_Carrot Stix Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 My second guess....Berkley Chigger Toad Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Absolutely absurd to even make a claim like that- No one knows what it will be won one. Believe me i have seen fishermen win big tournaments saying it was won on a certain bait when i know for a fact it wasn't. All hype -If it is won on one of their baits God bless them and the winner but until then . Quote
