Super User roadwarrior Posted March 5, 2014 Super User Posted March 5, 2014 These are not "brand new", but they may be new to you. I have had GREAT luck with these ever since they were introduced: Menace http://www.ragetail.com/news/color-charts/rage-twin-tail-menace-color-selection/ Shellcracker http://www.ragetail.com/news/color-charts/rage-shell-cracker-color-selection/ Cut-R http://www.ragetail.com/news/08/the-cut-r-worm-new-2014/ Recon http://www.ragetail.com/news/color-charts/rage-recon-color-selection/ 3 Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted March 5, 2014 Super User Posted March 5, 2014 The Menace and Cut-R are two of my favorites! Quote
daiwaguy Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I like the Menace as trailers on Spinnerbaits, swim jigs, and scroungers. I have really been wanting to try the recon worm. 1 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 5, 2014 Author Super User Posted March 5, 2014 Recon I know... The first run was not made to Big O's specifications. The current formula is MUCH stronger. 1 Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 The Menace is my go to shaky bait. It looks like it wouldnt do much but that little guy flat catches fish. 2 Quote
Super User Catt Posted March 5, 2014 Super User Posted March 5, 2014 I know... The first run was not made to Big O's specifications. The current formula is MUCH stronger. Bass didn't seem to care! I could throw that worm 24/7/365! You know I'm a sucker for ring worms 1 Quote
Smokinal Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 That Menace looks like a good swim jig trailer. 1 Quote
gripnrip Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 The Menace is my go to shaky bait. It looks like it wouldnt do much but that little guy flat catches fish. I love the Zoom magnum 4" finesse on mine. When I want more action, I'll give these a try. Thanks Mike! 1 Quote
SpencerLittle Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 The menace is alsome around grass on a jig as well. Anyone who punchs mats with a punch skirt would also be wise to put it on that setup as well. 1 Quote
SpencerLittle Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 The recon worm just all around looks awesome. Quote
tbone1993 Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Dont own a single rage tail bait. Im a Zoom, net bait, lake fork kind of guy. Have considered buying them but never pulled the trigger. 1 Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted March 6, 2014 Super User Posted March 6, 2014 I am really hoping the DB craw will soon come in Blue Craw. I absolutely clean house using the Baby Rage Craw in that pattern. Quote
Super User Shane J Posted March 6, 2014 Super User Posted March 6, 2014 Um, yes please! I use 'em all, but that Recon is my favorite worm. Oh, and Gone_Phishin, I believe Blue Craw is one of the colors that the DB will be available in soon. One of my favorites, too, so I hear ya! 3 Quote
Super User AK-Jax86 Posted March 6, 2014 Super User Posted March 6, 2014 I wish that my local stores would carry more Rage Tail baits, more variety seems like they all carry the same few types and same colors. 1 Quote
Super User CWB Posted March 7, 2014 Super User Posted March 7, 2014 I think the Shellcracker is overlooked as a swimbait. Perfect for lakes that have an abundance of smaller bluegill to feed on. 3 Quote

That's the second best news I heard all day...the first being a rod tube arrived with a few sticks from the far East. 4 Quote

This is my wifes favorite bait. Ever since she threw one at Pickwick I can not get her to change from it. Even when fish are on a suspended jerkbait bite. All I hear is I want to throw that green and blue fishy. 2 Quote

Siebert Outdoors Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 and that....ladies and gentlemen....is the technical term! LOL, Funny thing is I always know what lure she is talking about when she asks. She may not be lure name or tech savvy but she will put a hurting on the fish. Quote

She may not be lure name or tech savvy but she will put a hurting on the fish. I wasn't poking fun. I should have been more clear about that.... I do home health physical therapy, and I use the term "butt cheek" for certain exercises, and I always tell my patients "that is the technical term we learned in school" ...so it really was an inside joke...with myself??? She knows what she wants, and you do too. I think it is great she goes fishing with you. My wife has no interest. Quote
AQUA VELVA Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Was thinking about trying out the Rage Shad until I started reading a lot of negative customer reviews about how easy they tear up. At five bucks for a five pack, they aint cheap. Quote
