Getcher fresh Virginia snow right here, folks.

We were a lovely 73 yesterday. I thought I left snow back in western NY when we moved here.

Today we are below freezing, started out with sleet, then ice, now snow.

Can somebody please turn off the atmospheric spigot?  :timeout:

And no smart-alec remarks from y'all northern folk, either. I lived there for 1/2 of my life. I know what its like.

Back to my  :coffee1:

I never said trade snow, just BUY. You may have all of ours, but I want none of yours.

Besides, how dare you even reply since you've fished at Baccarac. I mean come on, man. Well, okay, if you guys can pinch some funds together, I'll join ya. I really want to change my PB size from 7-8 to 9-25. LOL

If it takes me buying some of your snow off you to trade for a Mexico bass trip, I'll have to talk to my wife.

OK - I will concede that DD bass have a way of easing the brutality of Old Man Winter to some degree.

And if you really want to come (and we'd love to have you btw) you can.

Look at the great things you've accomplished so far in life.

And your wife would no doubt love to see you do something that she knows would mean so much to you.

Do it man.

I would be a tough convince for sure. This being our 20th year of marriage, I don't think I could convince her to go bass fishing in Mexico to celebrate. LOL

One of these years I'd love to join y'all. Before you guys catch everyone of them to the point of extinction  :eyebrows: ........

As for the Extinction thing - NO CHANCE - the place is a Factory . . . .

You can keep your Virginia snow.  It appears to be more slippery than northern snow.

We had the pleasure of traveling I-81 from PA to I-40 in TN on February 13th.  We left MA early on Wed, Feb 12th and stopped in Troutville about three in the afternoon, just as it started to snow.  We should have kept going and stopped in Knoxville.  Hindsight is 20/20.

In the stretch between Roanoke and Wytheville we saw six tractor trailers on their sides either in the center divider or in the ditch just off the shoulder.  I can only imagine how many got sideways across the interstate and blocked traffic until they got one of the super heavy duty, triple rear axle wreckers to drag them back onto the highway.

It took us about seven hours to cover that stretch of road between Roanoke and Wytheville, which included a two hour stop while an obstruction several miles ahead was cleared.  When we got to the 70 mile marker the road was wet, but clear.  Traffic finally was able to get up to the speed limit.  From there it was a piece of cake.

We returned through the same area on Saturday, just ahead of the storm you had on Sunday.

I'm thinking that in a few weeks, I'll be headed south along the same route to attend the Road Trip.  Don't think I'll have to worry about ice or snow storms by then.
