keninaz Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Just curious, I am buying a new Wilderness Ride 115 angler kayak to fish from in the lakes locally. Looking at the Hummingbird website they offer one scupper mount but it's a bit pricey at $100. It would appear to me that the Lowrance model that sells for $40 would work but I am not sure if the transducer from hummingbird will fit on the stock mount or not. Anyone tried it? I guess it's that or just make my own. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted March 3, 2014 Super User Posted March 3, 2014 The Humminbird scupper mount is not a mount bracket, it is a thru-hull transducer. The Lowrance scupper mount is a mount system but does not included the transducer. You can probably adapt the transducer bracket on the Lowrance mount to fit a Humminbird transducer. Quote
MikeinFresno Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Wayne is right. The scupper mount is a set of caps for top n bottom of the scupper hole, a plastic long threaded rod to go thru the scupper to connect each end cap. There are other misc pieces as well. I used one to mount up my transducer and it worked well. Quote
