I'm looking to buy a spinning rod and reel for throwing stick baits and zoom super flukes.  I would like to spend $175-$200 for the combo.

Thanks

If it were me I'd get a 7'1M *** and Symetre 2500FL.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Thanks for the quick reply.

No problem. Easy answer for me as I had a very similar combo, except I had the Stradic over the Symetre; but either would do. That rod is just made for the baits you mentioned. Plus, it's super comfortable to fish with.

if it were me I would spend around 70-90 on the reel and 100-120 on the rod. brand is your choice. Abu garcia, daiwa, shimano, quantum, or lews are all great reels. Just look for the best value for the performance you get.

Good choice, but my preference would be a Shimano Sahara 2500/3000 FE on a 6'8 M/XF St. Croix Mojo bass Wacky Style spinning rod. I would use the extra money to spool it with 20 lb braid. :)

Thanks for all the replies!  I'm heading down to the states soon so I'll buy a real and order a rod of TWH!
