WhiteMike1018 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Buying fishing tackle, the ammount of lures, plastics, and wire type baits i have is just re-donculus.. It's an addiction....a very sick addiction that is sucking the life and money out of me... I would appreciate it if you all would keep the Lure posts to a minimum or I might need TD Bank to put a restriction on my credit/debit card. Thank You -WM 1 Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 2, 2014 Global Moderator Posted March 2, 2014 thought i was done, too... then started reading swimbait forums... At least you're only buying 1 or 2 baits a time that way right? Nevermind that those 1 or 2 baits can total more than a whole cart worth of regular tackle Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted March 2, 2014 Super User Posted March 2, 2014 Good luck getting the monkey off your back. Quote
BuckMaxx Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Me and ebay are on break in our relationship right now. She is costing me too much money. 3 Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted March 2, 2014 Super User Posted March 2, 2014 I had to pick up an order at Cabelas, I said I had enough jerkbaits, I really don't need anymore. I walked in and saw a line at the pick up/customer service area, (3 people) so I figured I'd take a quick look in the fishing section, just a look, it won't hurt to look. I walked out with the order I picked up, 2 packs of trebls hooks, a pack of bobber stops, 6 more jerkbaits, 2 containers of powder paint, and a pack or spinner blades. We all feel your pain but if you don't feed the addiction just a little it is going to really cost you the second you get some extra money, you'll explode into a buying frenzy with more rod and reels than you can imagine. 1 Quote
Super User Munkin Posted March 2, 2014 Super User Posted March 2, 2014 I was doing so well but fell off the wagon again. Why in the hell do I keep buying jerkbaits I ask myself? If I broke off a bait on every cast on both jerkbait rods I would run out of line before jerkbaits. Good news is I haven't bought any this month. Allen Quote
Jaiden Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Stay away from Cabela's.... Jackall askas for $10, Rage Tails on sale, KVD Hardbaits on sale, and many more... I walked away with an Ima Bill Lowen squarebill for $8 Quote
tommiller76 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 They say that admitting that you have a problem is the first step to recovery so just keep denying you have one and everything will be ok...! Quote

Wbeadlescomb Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I dont think Siebert Outdoors Jigs are on TW are they? :D As soon as he starts making the Davis jig that is now the net bait paca swim jig I'll switch over. I know he makes good jigs but that one swim jig has caught more big fish than any I've ever seen. I gave my dad a couple and the first day out he put 4 in the boat over 8 lbs Quote
McAlpine Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Yes, winter has been far too long and far too cold. I've been buying MB 110's and digging through ebay to buy old Poe's RC1's and RC3's. Momma would probably like me to slow down. D@mn bait monkey! Quote
