Wonderwood Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I am going to Fisheating Creek Outpost to camp and fish in late March and I was wondering if anyone has fished there and what are some good techniques for there as I've never fished there before. Quote
Super User geo g Posted March 2, 2014 Super User Posted March 2, 2014 I don't know where the Creek Outpost is, but I have fished the creek from the road west of the O, to the lake. Its a sandy bottom in some spots and did quite well with Zoom watermelon red centipedes. Texas rig with a 1/32 weight. I'm sure they would work in your area. Good luck! Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted March 4, 2014 Global Moderator Posted March 4, 2014 Because of the hard bottom near the entrance to the creek on both points, and near the poles, that area has been a hot spawning area for the last few years. I haven't been there yet this year but it may be a good area to start at. Mike Quote
