Wbeadlescomb Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Got to play with one today and all I can say is WOW!!!! It easily pitched farther than any of my curado's I've got a chronarch e in the mail kind of wish I would have waited and got the new curado but I may have to break down and sell one of my shotguns to get a couple. How do you feel the curado I stacks up to the chronarch e? Quote

Jay Ell Gee Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I would personally never sell a firearm (I consider them an investment) but they are nice. I picked up a 7.2 yesterday and like it so far. I love my 50e's as well, though. Both are great choices Quote
gripnrip Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I've been debating jumping on the Shimano bandwagon. It seems like a quality reel. A buddy of mine let me use one of the previous models a couple of years ago. I was impressed. I just couldn't get past the UGLY green! lol Quote
bootytrain Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I never had a Chronarch/Curado E but I did have a Citica E. The new Curado far outcasts it. Compares favorably in distance to my best distance reels (Metanium XG and Exsence DC) Beats my Tatula R, Curado 50, Scorpion DC, and Revo Elite IB(with the dual brakes) by a good margin. This is stock out of the box with a ton of grease on the bearings. With aftermarket bearings and a tune it should be unreal And I don't have to be as careful with it because its only $180 lol. Quote

Guy I know was going to take it to the pawn shop and told him I'd give him $20 more than whatever they offered. Quote
