blongfishing Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 Thanks! That's what I was thinking and that's what my fishing partner said. Again thanks! Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted March 1, 2014 Super User Posted March 1, 2014 That'll put you about where you want to be. If you fish a lot of weightless stuff though you might want to go with the same rod in a M/F Quote
revo4life Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 i'll take a 7'3 mh with that rod you can do almost everything... Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 1, 2014 Super User Posted March 1, 2014 7' MF with a firm tip Quote
kschultz76 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 All depends on how heavy though rigs are and what rod manufacturer you're looking at, they all rate their rods differently. All ST Croix M spinning rods are 3/16-5/16 oz lure rating, as are some others like the BPS Carbonlite I believe. But other brands would call that a MH. But in general I'd agree a M or MH, fast action rod is where you want to be. Quote
