riskkid 2 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 The BPS Spring Classic got me to thinking about this. They are going to be selling the old Curado's for $99.00 which I think most would agree is a very good deal for that reel. But...let's say you were in the market for a new reel and had your heart set on a different reel where the price is similar to the Curado's original price. Would it be worth it to you to save $50.00 or so over getting what you really wanted? I'm assuming you could afford the price difference (goes without saying if you could only afford $100. then this would be hard not to buy). Just curious.....I think I'd go for the reel I really wanted. 1 Quote

mjseverson24 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I would go with the curado G for 100, unless the daiwa T3-B is the other option(i love that reel)... Mitch Quote
BassmanDan Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Life is too short...go for what will really make you happy and don't look back. I did that today and got the Chronarch Ci4 for $50 off with the reel trade. Happy, happy, happy. 1 Quote

Saving money is good, but you will be happier if you buy what the heart wants, not what sensibility suggests. There is a good chance you will smile much more often when you pick the former up than when picking up the latter to make a cast. You only go around once. I don't have to catch fish if I am enjoying the gear I am using. Quote
Hogsticker Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I don't settle anymore. Everytime I did I ended up selling it. Get what you want. If you can't afford it now, save until you can Quote
