BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 28, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 28, 2014 The Bullet XRS was designed for the tournament angler by tournament anglers. The XRS is a custom boat designed around you. This is not a generic setup that meets the needs of the masses. Check it out!http://bulletboats.com/ Quote
BassnChris Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Really Nice boat. Very fishable boat.........I really like what looks like an unblingy boat.......i do not care for bling. I wish I had the $$$$ to get one. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted February 28, 2014 Super User Posted February 28, 2014 All of the bling seems to be inside the boat, and what's hanging off the back end. I had the opportunity of riding in one once at Lake Fork. It was a very smooth ride, even at what I considered to be warp speeds. When I win the lottery, I'm going to get me a yeller one. Dang, those are some sweetheart boats. 2 Quote
Super User Way2slow Posted February 28, 2014 Super User Posted February 28, 2014 I've considered one several times, but I have to keep doing a reality check. I've known myself long enough to know it would never be fast enough to suit me. I would always be trying to get that couple extra mph out of it. I've had a Allison once, many years ago, and ended up with twin 135BHP Merc racing engines on the back. As far as I know, it's still sitting on the bottom in about 90 feet of water at Clark Hill. I'm a speed freak, and while I would luv to hang one of the motors I have on the back of a bullet, knowing it would run over 100 mph with one, I have to keep realizing I'm tooo flipping old the be doing those stupid things like that now. We put one on a friends 20' Bullet a few years ago and it ran 107 without a whole lot of setup or the perfect prop, so I know what one will do. He already had a motor like mine, just no where near the HP. With his motor putting out 278 hp, it still pushed his Bullet 93 mph with just him in it. Quote
Wbeadlescomb Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Eff those boats fished our classic one year out of a bullet hit 104 before I told him to slow that d**n thing down. I knew I was in for trouble when he handed me a helmet. I'm good with 70mph 2 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted February 28, 2014 Super User Posted February 28, 2014 I just like that their faces look like they're riding in a wind tunnel, LOL. Quote
jhoffman Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 That website leaves a lot to be desired. I could make them a new one... lets say a boat for a new site Quote
