what do you guys use for jig trailers, i use the YUM baby craw trailer in blue/ black flake and move up from there the bigger the jig.  i tried the uncle josh's pork frogs but they did not help at all so i went to these.

I mostly use Joesjigtrailer,  also use zoom critter craws, eakin craws, and some chunks that I've been making.

Eventually it will all be home made. 8-)

I use mostly Power craws and Power hawgs, but just about any soft plastic will work. I've been saving torn up senkos to use as jig and spinnerbait trailers. About 4 inches of a "used" senko makes a good jig trailer. Gets you a little more for your money. If you use a lot of senkos, the trailers are free.

Cheers,

I like the 2.5" Yum craw bug on my 3/16 and 5/16 oz jigs, and the 3.5 crawbug on 1/4-3/4 oz jigs. I have also used the Yum chunk, but prefer the crawbug. I just got some NetBait Paca chunks to try. Don't be afraid to experament with trailers, I have had success with some different things, zoom flukes, any kind of grub.......even live bait.

I like the Zoom Super Chunks.  I will also use tubes with the front end cut off, plastic worms, and just about any other type of plastic bait I can get on the jig hook.
