macmichael Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Any one ever use one? I saw one on a fishing show today, an Aqua view. Quote
Super User Raul Posted February 27, 2014 Super User Posted February 27, 2014 We have discused their utility before here, unless you are fishing very clear water the max distance you can see with it is the water clarity available, how many times the place you fish has high visbility ? In my case the gadget is pretty much useless, for me it is much more important a good depth finder or something really cool, like a 3D. Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted February 27, 2014 Super User Posted February 27, 2014 Check out electronics section on this site. I've had some great fun. Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted February 27, 2014 Super User Posted February 27, 2014 Really cool in super clear water, complete waste of money if it's stained. Quote
Super User Scott F Posted February 27, 2014 Super User Posted February 27, 2014 Even in clear water the viewing range is limited. Like the GoPro, they have wide angle lenses so anything more than a few feet from the camera gets so small it's hard to see. A couple of other things. 99% of the time, the camera has to be near the bottom to see anything at all. And, the time you spend watching TV, is time you aren't fishing! Quote
AQUA VELVA Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Yea, those things work great if you do all your fishing in a bathtub. Quote
