noway Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I can't find it for Android. Search the Play Store for My Fishing Advisor. Funny story about the App. Last year we fished a new lake. Guys already on the lake gave us some info. on what lures were catching fish. Got into the App. and plugged in the data. Same lure(s) were recommended. I will add that the recommended lures did catch fish but we found our own pattern. Quote

HaHa...........any hot spot here the guys know about it long before any app. There isn't much going on that everyone doesn't already know, word gets out fast. Only time I ever see hat cams, apps on phones, are not from the seasoned fishermen. If you aren't prepared with information before you leave home, whether it's gear, weather, location or knowing how to tie a knot, you just ain't ready to go fishing, no phone app in the world is going to help you. Super User SirSnookalot Posted March 2, 2014 Super User Posted March 2, 2014 Well excuussee me!!! (: Every second your lure is out of the water, you chances of catching a good fish have been reduced. I see no reason to record data, measure or weigh, or even take photos of small fish, unless something very unique has occurred. It's one thing to have app for a weather alert, but knowing the forecast and looking at the sky works pretty good too. I like playing with toys, but not when I'm fishing. I can just picture myself with a gopro on my head catching a 5# fish that took all of 30 seconds to land. Quote
BuckMaxx Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I save my money on crapbox. I just got to the clearance box at walmart and drag out a few of the ugly Chinese baits. Quote
EdsBar Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I have this App. I don't know about its credibility though. There are two public supply drinking resevoirs near my house where there is absolutely zero tolerance for fishing. There's two guys who posted pics of themselves fishing there. Just because it's in the app, doesn't make it legal. But, could you use it to plead a case in case you got busted? Quote
