BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted February 26, 2014 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted February 26, 2014 I just signed up as a boat captain again this year. They are still short a few boats. You will be treated like you are one of the Elites. You get launched and valet parked. Drive through weigh in. It is awesome. Come out and help get a paralyzed veteran on the water. PVA.Org Quote
Pz3 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I have no boat at the moment but at some point I do plan on doing these types of events regularly. I would love to spend a day out with some fellow OEF vets. Quote
Fishing Cowgirl Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Oh good! Checked my calendar, I believe I can help out this year. Quote
topwaterrob Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Would we need to do all 3 days??? Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted February 26, 2014 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted February 26, 2014 Would we need to do all 3 days??? Friday night - partner meeting Saturday - you are basically a guide as the vets fish against each other Saturday night banquet - not mandatory Sunday - you and your vet fish as a team against the rest of the field At least that was the format in 2012, the last time I was a boat captain. That was one of my most memorable weekends of fishing. Quote
topwaterrob Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I'll look into it... This is something I've wanted to get involved in.. Quote
Fishing Cowgirl Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I really enjoyed being boat Capt in 2012, it was a rewarding experience. So much, that my husband Fishing Cowboy said he would like to be Boat Captain this year. So he is signing up and I will assist one of the Bank fishing vetrans instead. I do reccomend anyone who can be a Boat Captain come out and help. You'll always remember it. Quote
Pz3 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I don't know my work schedule yet but I'll swing by if possible. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted February 28, 2014 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted February 28, 2014 That's awesome Lisa, thanks. Comeon guys, where is the central Florida membership? These guys paid a huge sacrifice and you benefit from it everyday. It's only $50 and a weekend on the water. Quote
