I have been trying to improve my livewell management in my boat. I installed a power bubbles kit last year and it really helped. Does anyone have these on their boat? What do you think of them honestly? Looking for nonbias reports thanks!!

Took a look at them when I saw something a mention of them on ***. IMHO I think they're kind of a gimmick. I could be wrong though.

They claim they help aerate the water at the same time the ammonia gasses are being expelled. I would guess running the aerator and opening the lid occasionally would accomplish the same thing.

Do you have an issue with losing fish? It could be a bacteria, or an undersized or non functioning pump(s) causing the issues. I run my aerator on auto and recirc on constant all day. The days it's real hot, I run all the pumps on constant.

No I havent lost a fish yet but I dont want to either. I have dual (small) livewells on my Ranger. I drilled some 1.5" holes in the divider to let water circulate better between them. I also dont use any additives to my water. There have been times I have deep hooked a fish and put her in the live well to see if she was going to make it. Often with the power bubbles and circ pumps rolling within a few minutes, she will be back to her old self.
