Super User Felix77 Posted February 24, 2014 Super User Posted February 24, 2014 All, Thought I would share. This was posted to the Bassmaster YouTube page. GoPro video of Howell's morning. It was truly a classic. Fun to watch! 1 Quote

IntroC Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Randy seems like a good fella. I'm glad he won, Quote
hookset on 3 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Randy said afterward, that he culled 7 or 8 Four Pounders, for cripes sake! Guys, up North here, a four is a very nice Bass. He also commented on the fact that all the people on the bridge and causeway, got to see all the action, up close and personal. Randy was jacked up from the crowd, because most of their tournament catches are only seen by a few spectator boats as it happens live out on the lakes they fish. Quote
dam0007 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Awesome! Happy for the guy! Wish they hammered cranks up here like that. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted February 25, 2014 Super User Posted February 25, 2014 Guntersville is not known for monster bass, but it is one of the top lakes in the country for bass in the 6lb - 8lb range. This one weighed 7.49 lbs: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/lake-guntersville-2012.html Quote

Super User slonezp Posted February 26, 2014 Super User Posted February 26, 2014 The only time I've ever experienced anything like that was on Guntersville. Fished a big tourney a couple years back and had only 4 dinks in the livewell with 2 hours left. Saw a school of shad busting the surface and it was game on for about an hour. Actually ended up culling all the fish in the well, and then some. Quote
