This is what my next items to buy will be.

Yes that is over a 100 bucks. For what looks like some drills. They are far from drills. I won't go in to that. At the end of the day. They will save me around 8-10 hours of machining over high speed steel.

Quality tools are absolutely worth it.

I have to buy several diamond tipped concrete cut off blades every year.  They are $400 ea but they last for months and the time saved more than pays for it.

I don't know how quality they are. They are on the cheaper side. I could spend up to 100 bucks for just one. I am hoping they hold up for a while though. I also know about time savings. I borrowed a carbide end mill from a buddy. It took me 40 minutes to mill a pocket 1x5x.436 deep. Compared to high speed steel. High speed steel would have been a 2-4 hour process.

Hootie......... what happened to your screen name?

Had wanted to drop the benji and just use Hootie, since that is how I sign anyhow. Well Hootie was already taken by someone who hasn't signed on since 2009. So "00 mod", Jeff suggested adding a character to make it usable, hence, *Hootie. Jeff has been helping me for a couple of days to try to work this out. And he did it. A big THANKS to Jeff.

Hootie, not only do I remember the Hunt Brothers, but I rode their silver bubble in the early 80s.

I got in at $5 oz when silver spiked to $14 oz. Sounds like a great investment right, but it was a Horror Show.

My exchange broker was IGBE who were over-leveraged on the short end and became insolvent (chapter 7).

My advice to Jeff, don't hold silver certificates, but take delivery of the commodity.

The Walmart in the little town where RoLo lives is on a corner and the side street is named Hunt Brothers.

I looked them up before posting that, and when I saw they went from billionaires to nothing in the silver industry, I knew they weren't anywhere close to Walmart anymore....LOL

Is that like the asterisk they put beside Roger Maris name when he broke Babe Ruth's record of 60 home runs?  It denoted that Maris did hit more than sixty, but the season had been lengthened, and it took Maris more games to do it.

Do you remember a hull designer, C Raymond Hunt?  He developed the deep vee and trailers for boats.  Not boat trailers, but hull extensions to increase carrying capacity.

A Porky's reference.  Wow.  Either that or one of those other really bad 80's movies.  Then became Bart's favorite.
