hockeybigd Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Looking for any feedback on XPS Fluoro. Does anybody have experience with this line on both spinning, & baitcasting? How is the memory? Thanks Quote
Super User *Hootie Posted February 23, 2014 Super User Posted February 23, 2014 The XPS fluoro is great line, however I have not used their new line yet, "the new yellow and purple box". BPS switched line manufacturers. This line is manufactured now by Seaguar. And THAT is a GOOD thing RIGHT!! Hootie 1 Quote

Texas bassman Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Xps has always been made by seaguar. My buds at bass pro told me. The new box is just new packaging. They say its the same as invisix. Its good line. I use it most of the time. Bps is having it for $10 during the classic On march 7th! Quote

Grantman83 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 It was Toray that made the line before if I remember correctly Quote
Texas bassman Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Cool well its still good line and seaguar is a good company. Even the red label is decent. I just got a job at basspro this week. Im excited and nervous but its gonna be fun. 1 Quote

Shadow93 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I actually use XPS fluorocarbon exclusively now. With many other brands, I get problems with kinks in the spool, which result in line breakage at inopportune times. This doesn't seem to happen (at least for me) with XPS. I've only used it (and I mean fluorocarbon in general) with baitcasting, and it works very well. I recommend it. 1 Quote
Stingray23 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I have used XPS fluoro on a couple of my baitcasters. Its good line, not as good as Invizx. Its a little stiffer then Invizx. This is when I bought them about 3 yrs ago. I dont know if the newer ones are different. Quote
