JigMe Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 TW is running its bass master classic sale, and it has some rep example rods for 25% off. Anyone ever purchased them before, are you like new or it shows good use on the rod? Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted February 21, 2014 Super User Posted February 21, 2014 They are about as new as a used rod gets. Buy with confidence. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted February 21, 2014 Super User Posted February 21, 2014 I've purchased two Loomis rep sample rods. One was an NRX - it looked absolutely new and unused, also eligible for the wild card. The second was a CBR906 - the blank was perfect but the cork looked like it had been handled just a bit - but NO problem... Super User Goose52 Posted February 21, 2014 Super User Posted February 21, 2014 Sup Goose. It is good to hear from you again. From the other topic, what is a wild card replacement? From the Loomis web site: Wild Card: A service program offering a onetime, no questions asked, free, over the counter replacement. Only applicable to current rod models of NRX, Pro4x GLX and GL2 . Details are on the Loomis web site: Wild Card Registration To register the rod, and get the Wild Card, you need to have a receipt from an authorized Loomis seller. A receipt from TW should work nicely. Quote

Jigs 4 Pigs Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I bought a rep sample NRX that was damaged from TheH00kUpTackle.com. They never sent me the rod because they didn't feel comfortable with the condition it was in. Instead, they ordered a brand new NRX from Loomis. It took an extra week to work out the issues, but I saved $200 on a new rod!! Quote
