Great Topic, I'm really enjoying the posts.

I'm not claiming to be P-Diddy, Puff-Daddy, whatever the rap star and "Sean John" clothing mogul goes by this week..... My name just happens to be the same and I'm not creative.

I chose mine because it is a discreet play on my inner psych nerd. It's for rational cognition, which is the premise for many psychotherapy theories. Rational beliefs lead to rational feelings and behavior. Cognitive behavioral therapy is built upon this idea and it's a form of treatment that has been proven effective many times over. I'm sure that's not what most people think of when they see RatCog.

You're right, wasn't thinking that at all :angel500:

I know what you're thinking: Arkansas...mobile home aka "trailer", but actually that's not it. My dad and I worked together. He loved campers and RV's so our buyer at Ally bank always called him RV. After I bought a camper our Ally buyer called me Trailer as in not quite as big as an RV since I was the son. I didn't choose it and it stuck because other buyers that I never had met referred to me as trailer when I called so I ran with it!

When  I started bass fishing in the 90's my favorite lure was a Texas rigged worm ( a plum Berkley power worm). I joined a website called "probass" and when Berkley stopped making the plum color, reached out to members of "probass" to find me some of that color. Within a week, I had 3 guys who had found bags of a hundred plum power worms and sent them to me.. Just had to stay with plumworm. Still have about 100 of them and they still work great on the Mississippi pools 9/10.

I wish it had some awesome secretive meaning Brian.

It's simply an old iteration of the Terminator spinnerbait. It's the bait I caught my first REAL largemouth on and I've been using it so long, it's just kinda stuck.

being Native American i chose something related to my tribe. The Haliwa-Saponi tribe out of North Carolina. Haliwa is a combination of the main two counties of NC that my tribe is from, Halifax-Warren counties. the name actually used to be Haliwar-Saponi, but the "r" was later dropped. Saponi is basically the bloodline and it means Red Earth People, so thats where i get Red Earth from....

Simple enough my first name and last initial. I'm not creative and like to keep things simple.

Dam is my initials. 0007 was supposed to be 007, a typo a long time ago on my aim messenger name so I just kept it going all these years.

It's either Fifth Wheel or Pop-Up...then the grandchild can be called Tent. Pretty soon when you get to great-grandchildren we'll have to use Cardboard or Tarp.

My home lake is super shallow. I've been flippin and pitchin since 1980/81. I still have my original Fenwick Dee Thomas Flippin Stik. My buddies got to the point that when I caught a few fish, they didn't even bother to ask how I caught them and said, it was probably flippin and pitchin. I actually had sticker made for the back window of my truck that said, yup, Flippin & Pitchin. The guys in the club thought it was funny and it stuck. The ironic part is I would rather crank structure for small mouth.

I dont even think I know what mine means... Started about 6 years ago on a freezing cold morning striper fishing along the beach when my buddy yelled the wind was Koofy Smacking him. No idea where it came from and that kid has the personality of a ping pong ball but it stuck

Like 4 years ago I decided to join this site, so I tried to come up with a cool name. This is what I came up with. It's kind of funny because there is no heat in Wisconsin :P . I actually use this screen name for a lot of other things. so thanks BassResource!

The first new car I owned was a 1968 Rambler.  Had a CB radio in it and needed a handle, (this is the Rambler, KALJ7431 down and on the side).  I've used the name every since then.

A Nash Rambler?  Well, coulda been worse.  Could have been a Gremlin, or worse yet, a Metropolitan.  Gremlin would have been a cool screen name though.  Rambler is a fine screen name too.

As a 32year old I played a lot of video games 20 years ago and one of my favorites was duke nukem. as a spoof I used the screenname of "Duke scrotum" for everything. as this country got more and more sensitive there was a lot of websites/games that were getting offended by the word scrotum so I had to choose a new name.

I was watching a program on the discovery channel about wolves and they kept talking about the alpha male and it stuck.

You might have been sacked for using scrotum?

My previous Screen Name was Bassboy107 meaning I'm s boy and I like bass fishing. 107 was a random number.

My screen name now is NH Stream Slippin', which is kind of explanatory. I'm in NH and I am notorious for slipping/falling into ponds, streams, or any type of body of water you can think of, LOL.

W= initial in my name.
