davi754 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 The weather looks to be ok next couple days, who might be hitting lake Anna or potomac or anywhere else? With the water temps still being cold, what would you try and would you stay on drop off's and deep rock areas? And if anybody has an open seat, I'll split some gas for the trip! Quote
livetofish28 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I was on Anna the last warm spell we had and the lake was frozen down below the 208 bridge and the only open water was down by dike 3 water was like 39 degrees. I'm fishing hotside on Sunday but if you do go out I would hit deep water points down around that area with suspending jerks, blade bats, etc you never know. It could be hit or miss, but I know one thing the water should still be pretty cold. Call up Anna point or sturgeon creek they will be able to hook you up with the best data. If worse comes to worse and your on the lake and the bass arn't biting the stripers are schooling by dike three so that could be fun. Tight lines Andrew Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 19, 2014 Super User Posted February 19, 2014 Big thunderstorms in the forecast for Friday so stay home and not fight the blue bird skies on One Fish Anna. Quote
dumfish Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Try fishing the smaller bodies of water, thats what I do early in the season. Quote
