Brian Needham Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 well I have decided to go back to a Minnkota Terrova. this time I got the 112 Terrova with ipilot link.... excited to get back to my spot lock, even more excited to make the jump to Lakemaster, since they have lakes I fish in HD now. I am really looking forward to the follow the contour feature! I always get a sliding terrova bracket from Grampajoes in MN. Helps immensely on install and do not have the dreaded "terrova hang over" on the front. looking to get it put on this weekend...... I am so ready to start fishing this spring Quote
mjseverson24 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Nice they are awesome, not sure why more bass anglers don't use them. for structure fishing there is nothing better than the spotlock and auto pilot. I haven't tried the link feature as I use lowrance electronics, but it looks sweet. nice buy... Mitch Quote
Brian Needham Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 whoops, I thought I posted this in the boat section Quote
Super User tomustang Posted February 19, 2014 Super User Posted February 19, 2014 Is that the minn kota mka-47 bracket? Quote

Super User slonezp Posted February 19, 2014 Super User Posted February 19, 2014 Got one of the 112 Links as well. I mounted the HDSI transducer to it with a TSS bracket and I'm just waiting for 24" of ice to melt. Quote

Brian Needham Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 Is that the minn kota mka-47 bracket? no, it is a skeeter bracket to tell the truth (I think) MK does not have a sliding bracket that I am aware of, only a quick release to take complety off when you stow it looks like a normal TM when you deploy it slides forward 6-7 inches to produce the needed overhang. I just call grandpajoes and tell them I want the sliding terrova bracket. The sliding bracket is a MUST have if you own a terrova, IMO it is a must have Quote

I try to recommend it in every terrova thread http://store.minnkotamotors.com/products/647255/MKA-47_Universal_Mounting_Bracket 1 Quote
Brian Needham Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 I stand corrected.......... when did they come out with that? I could swear they didn't have that when I got my last terrova, cause there was a big debate trying to find a sliding bracket. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted February 19, 2014 Super User Posted February 19, 2014 Think they came out in july 1 Quote
