Do you know how many people pick up big baits, hoping for the "magic bullet" and they don't catch a single thing? It is a craze for most and it's certainly not for everyone. I remember being critiaized by some for using trout-pattern swimbaits in bass lakes where there were no trout...some of those guys are eating crow now. Bass are opportunist and will go after after most anything that swims or twitches. I haven't thrown mine in a couple of years, but I think I'll pull em out this next season. Nice videos! Quote

But I fish in California and I know the new WR is in 15 lakes or more in this state. Ive been fishing the Hudd for , wel since it came out and they were east to get. I have 20 of the original Hudds, not the mass produced. Dont think they are different? They are, aint been the same since. IM not taking credit for it, but my best friend deserves that credit. Do you have a better video to share than anything Butch Brown has shown? Do you think I just went to YouTube and typed in "super awesome trophy bass fishing with hella cool trout swimbaits"? Nah, not my style. I offered that up as a better video demonstration of what big bait fishing can produce. Those bass in a "hawg tank" would eat a fast sinking turd most of the time. Take any type fish that has not been in that tank, dump it in there around feeding time and see what happens. Keep catching the biggest fish in your waters and I'll keep doing the same here. I was fishing in the rian one day and I was getting bit just about every cast using my little trout swimbait which is about 5 1/2 in long. I kept missing and I was getting frustrated. When the rain let up for a minute I could see a school of 1-2 lb rainbows swiping at my swimbait. I put on a tiny crankbait and quicky caught dinner. Then I went back to chassing bass. I caught one to. Here is the bass but no pics of the trout http://www.mattlureswholesale.com/image-viewer.htm?gallery/Fgallery2-29.jpg so I do know that trout will hit swimbaits, they are just very hard to hook.
