Has anyone had first hand experience with these frogs? They look very life-like and I'm intrigued. I think some of the colors are pretty realistic too. I just ordered 3 of them but haven't actually received them yet, I would love to hear the opinions of anyone who has used these frogs! I should be coming off some of the CO lakes in about a month and I can't wait to get out and do some casting!

I went with the Croaker, Green Tea, and King Toad colors. They show a frog that looks a lot like a Green Frog to me which is very common on Midwest lakes but I can't seem to find it!

Is this a good price on them? As big as I am on frog fishing how have I not seen this before now?

I have a few of them,  I havent had the chance to use them but they look great.

Thanks and I see they are sold out in a ton of places. Even on eBay most color are limited. I got Green Tea, Bull Frog, and King Toad. Supposed to be here before 22nd cant wait to have more frogs i'm still months away from using :( Also grabbed an optimum furbit and sexyish from snagproof on top of the dhalbergs, t-frog etc I already have. Spring better hurry up.

Check eBay I'm pretty sure I saw quite a few of what you're looking for. all under 10.00 shipped

I love the r2s dhalberg. I now own multiple of both. Cant wait to tell you which is better.

I tried the R2S. It swam terrible, I couldn't get it to look anything like it does in the commercial. Didn't really dive at all, it ran with it's nose really high.

My Dahlberg dove and kicked well. Just don't like it much *shrug*

I saw the Dahlberg last year but I didn't love the plastic weed guard on it. I haven't used one so I can't speak to first hand use.

I was excited when I picked up a few of these frogs this past summer. I personally was disappointed. Yeah the legs kick, but eh.... It didn't do it for me. Others  have had success using them and that's great for them. For me, I have narrowed down my frogs for the time being on Booyah's and LiveTarget's.

Why would you buy multiples of a bait youve never tried?

Colors? Why not? If you buy a light and dark you can get a good gauge for them. If you're throwing a white belly and the fish don't want it why not try the dark it may be what they wanted? So many people fish the wrong colors at times and discard the bait as garbage. I've had days where watermelon just wasn't working for certain soft plastics, I'd switched the pumpkin of the same exact bait and pulled in 10-20 bass. Switched back to watermelon and nada. I never buy two similar colors but if there's a bait I really like what I've seen and want to try I give it a real try. I do a lot of research and go All In on what I buy. I don't just have a bunch of 1.00 baits for the sake of having them, I buy quality over quantity.

Just my oppinion on the subject.

I can see the argument for two, makes sense. But I am not going to go out and buy multiple $10 baits, throw it, hate the action of the lure and have zero confidence to turn around and sell it at a loss. Two ten dollar baits, by the time I sell it, pack it, drive to ship it if I get half back that would be great. Most times thats not the way it goes, I refuse to fill my boxes with anything I dont have confidence in, storage in my boat is not nearly as big as some.

No I totally get that. 2 is my limit on new baits. Have to try both ends of the spectrum. Honestly stuff that doesn't work for me a lot of times the kids just like variety so the stuff that doesn't work I throw in the kids tackle box (my backup) then they can try it. It either works for them or doesn't but at least they have fun trying. Sometimes they do so well with stuff I gave up on it ends up back in my tackle box for another go round haha. Sometimes testing lure is as much fun for them as catching fish.

I see.

Ones a soft and ones a hard body, dif hook sets, etc

Yeah its pricey and wanted to know if its worth the buy. How do the bass react to it? Is it just like how they react to a real frog kicking?

So I got mine in the mail today. Great look, good soft feel hooks expose easily.

However....

Does anyone think the hooks could be sharper? Has anyone had hook up problems? The hooks are super thick but mine don't see very sharp. I'm really gonna have the lodge this sucker in the basses mouth. Compared to my other frogs this hook seems far inferior. Did I get a bum hook set? My friend ordered some say day as I did so waiting to see if his comes in the mail to compare.

Also I set it up in my fish tank and it doesn't seem to quite float like the video portrayed. Kind of sits of center right side in the water more than the left. Maybe it'll give the fish the image that the frog is sick or injured. Could be a plus idk but it certainlly doesn't sit like the video showed. Anyone else get theres yet? Kinda thinking I should have went with the furbit first.
