I've been lurking for a few days reading this and that and decided to join. I'm not necessarily new to fishing but new to the serious competitive side of it all. I've casually fished here and there mostly from shore for a good part of my life. However as a junior at Xavier University in Cincinnati I joined our club bass fishing team and have started to take it all more seriously. Our team actually has two guys which will be fishing in the FLW Collegiate National Championship on March 6th which is exciting for us. I'll actually be fishing my first tournament on Lake Patoka the last week of March so I'm hoping to learn as much as possible before I get on the water! So if anyone has knowledge of the lake and has any tips for the fishing during the time I will be on it that they don't mind sharing I'd love to hear it, and hopefully I see some of you out there!

I look forward to learning as much as I can from all those on hear who are undoubtedly more knowledgeable. I also hope that in time I will have more to offer to the community as I grow as an angler. It will be a crash course leading up to my first tournament so I'll be on here as much as I can as well as researching constantly to make sure I'm confident when I hit the water!
