aceman387 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Maybe its just me but when it hits the 90 mark i park the kayak, close the blinds and turn on the air conditioner. A possible 6'"of snow coming tomorrow. I can take the cold better than i can take the heat. 1 Quote

The only reason I go out in 90+ is to fish. Quote

I can remember being in high school back in the late 90s and fly fishing on creeks at this time of year having hatches that dont come off until the fifties. I actually had to dig a path from my house to the shed yesterday to get the chainsaw. Quote
Super User Raul Posted February 17, 2014 Author Super User Posted February 17, 2014 Now that August was mentioned, you ain´t gonna believe it but in August temps here are in the high 80´s low 90´s when skies clear, August is right in the middle of the rainy season so most of the time it´s cloudy and/or rainy. Yes, we do have seasons down here, the dry season from late Oct until April, and the rainy season from May until Oct. Usually March and April are the warmest months of the year, temps can get as high as 110°. So, I´ll let you all know when we reach 110° ! Quote
Super User WRB Posted February 17, 2014 Super User Posted February 17, 2014 Just suffering with 75-80 degree days, surface water temps at 60, height of pre spawn with excellent bass fishing the next few weeks before they move onto beds. This weekend the launch ramp had 3 bass boats, the words getting out so the boat traffic will increase and tournaments begin soon. It's been a good Feb so far. Tom Quote
