I've wanted a bass boat since I was a kid. Have owned several boats but never glass and never big horsepower. Have almost bought several times but always backed away. I finally pulled the trigger. I don't get excited about much but I'm pretty fired up about this. I know the boat won't catch me any more fish but I've always wanted something like this. It's a '98 Stratos 201 with a 225 Johnson and I cannot wait to get her out on the water.

Congratulations buddy! I'm in the same boat lol. I bought an 08 nitro z7 in December and I feel the same way! I live in Boston and bought it in December so it's just been sittin inside the carport ever since. I'm trying to get any little thing done I can to it. It's wrapped but I put a zippered door in to get in and out. Unfortunately it's the middle of February and we still got at least a month of waiting. I'm gonna cut the wrap off mid march. I got a few things I wanna do to be ready for April. Well, congratulations, I know how excited you are. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks everybody! It's definitely gonna be different than what I'm used too. There will be a learning curve I'm sure, both when it comes to operating it and its impact on my checkbook.

Congratulations to you too! I feel your pain. Realistically I should be able to get it out mid March and even that wait is killing me, can't imagine months of it. The up side is it gives me a minute to go through it and do this and that though. Busted out the big heater and fooled with it today a little. Not the same as fishing it but better than nothing. Hope you enjoy yours as well!
