Ski213 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I've wanted a bass boat since I was a kid. Have owned several boats but never glass and never big horsepower. Have almost bought several times but always backed away. I finally pulled the trigger. I don't get excited about much but I'm pretty fired up about this. I know the boat won't catch me any more fish but I've always wanted something like this. It's a '98 Stratos 201 with a 225 Johnson and I cannot wait to get her out on the water. 2 Quote

Congratulations buddy! I'm in the same boat lol. I bought an 08 nitro z7 in December and I feel the same way! I live in Boston and bought it in December so it's just been sittin inside the carport ever since. I'm trying to get any little thing done I can to it. It's wrapped but I put a zippered door in to get in and out. Unfortunately it's the middle of February and we still got at least a month of waiting. I'm gonna cut the wrap off mid march. I got a few things I wanna do to be ready for April. Well, congratulations, I know how excited you are. Hope you enjoy it! Quote

Ski213 Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 Thanks everybody! It's definitely gonna be different than what I'm used too. There will be a learning curve I'm sure, both when it comes to operating it and its impact on my checkbook. Congratulations buddy! I'm in the same boat lol. Realistically I should be able to get it out mid March and even that wait is killing me, can't imagine months of it. The up side is it gives me a minute to go through it and do this and that though. Busted out the big heater and fooled with it today a little. Not the same as fishing it but better than nothing. Hope you enjoy yours as well! Quote
