Pz3 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I had picked up a pack of these to give them a test. Haven't had any luck with them by themselfs yet but found chopping the grub in half allows it to be used as a sweet trailer for swimming jigs. Anyone else have any experience with these? * edit* apperently it is supposed to be used as a trailer for footballs. I found it in the discount bin and had no idea what it was lol. So I guess Im just barely smart enough to figure out what their purpose is. So as a trailer. Then yes it works Quote
doyle8218 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Effective from coast-to-coast and in a wide-range of conditions, the Yum F2 4” Gonzo Grub delivers an irresistible combination of fluttering, flowing action and powerful attractant that big fish can’t pass up. Whether it is rigged on a football head, Carolina-rig, or Texas-rig, the Yum F2 4” Gonzo Grub has a flared-out, full-bodied skirt at one end and a lively twin tail at the other end that will undoubtedly grab bass’ attention. Super-charged with F2 attractants and salt as well, the Yum F2 4” Gonzo Grub slowly releases it’s essence throughout the water, so it is just as effective on the last cast as it is on the first. Offered in a number of proven colors, the Yum F2 4” Gonzo Grub is a perennial powerhouse that should be a permanent staple in every angler’s arsenal. Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted February 16, 2014 Super User Posted February 16, 2014 Looks identical to the Yamamoto Hula Grub. They work awesome for smallmouth. I usually just fish them on a jig head, or if I'm largemouth fishing I will C-rig them. Awesome bait. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted February 16, 2014 Global Moderator Posted February 16, 2014 Great bait, lots of good ways to fish it. I like to use them on a shakyhead, football head, Rocker head, C-rig, T-rig, split shot rig or a stand up head. I prefer the Gonzo grub over the Chompers or hula grub because they're a little more durable. Quote
