1. Megabass Pony Gabot frog. If they were more durable or less expensive, this would be one of the only frogs I'd throw. It truly is outstanding, and gets bit when other frogs, including the Spro Bronzeye, don't.

2. Spro Bronzeye, both sizes. A massive selection of colors, most of which are great, and some of the better and more durable terminal tackle I've found. Hookup ratios and action are great, and they cast and skip really well.

3. Booyah Pad Crasher. In my opinion about the same level of quality as the Live Targets at a much better price.

4. Spro Bronzeye Poppin' Frog. Action, hookup ratio, castability, color selection... All the advantages of the original Bronzeyes, but with a different profile and sound. The only downsides are the reduction in weedlessness and a tendency to rip out at the mouth.

5. Spro Bronzeye Big Daddy. Definitely a unique frog, that does everything it's supposed to do correctly. All the positive traits of the other Spros, but with a much larger profile and more of a walking action straight from the package.

how is the Lunker Hunt frog holding up for everyone? Does it take on water faster than others?

I throw a little bit of everything. I really prefer the popping style frog.

1Scum frog the old school popping frog the white one with the little scum circle on the belly.

2 & 3 bronze eye regular and popping style with the legs trimmed.

4 tournament scum frog

5 my absolute favorite it's the seismic frog. I rig it with a 5/0 Trokar flipping hook. I've caught tons of good fish on this frog. I like the option of pausing it and letting it sink if one misses it.

I use spro for  years, then tried Booyah's Pad Crasher. They both work about the same, but the Pad Crasher is A LOT more durable for a lot less money, bye bye spro.

Frogs are probably my favorite thing to fish.  Nothing creates those topwater breaches quite like 'em!
