7' H or 7'6 H? Will be fishing 0-30 feet of water with rocky bottom will be fishing 1/2 oz football jigs mostly.

I use a 7' for up to 15' and for deeper water I will go 7'6.  I would suggest if you're going to use it for deep water and going to have 1 rod, go for the 7'6.  The reason, longer rods for deeper water for better/easier hooksets.  But it isn't "NECESSARY" it is nice to have.

Go 7'6". I use 7'8" for all my jig fishing and love the length for better hooksets using straight fluoro.

Really comes down to personal preference both of those lengths will work. If you enjoy fishing longer rods then grab the 7'6". No downside to the 7'6" if your comfortable fishing it imo.

Its really up to what feels right in your hands, and how the rod balances with the reel youll be using.

If its anything like I micro magic it will be but I haven't got my reel I ordered for it I just bought it today before i came to work it's still sitting in my truck it's light I like the feel of the Eva handles has a nice tip to it

The longer your rod when casting the less accurate your cast will be.

8' heavy bass heavy rod is for flipping, few angler flip today, they pitch. You use your rod and reel when pitching at close range targets inside 30', 7'6" makes a good pitching rod.

Casting and retrieving a (football) jig is a lot like fishing a Texas rigged worm or creature, you don't need a long rod to do this. What you need is a rod that is comfortable for you to cast accurately the distance you plan to fish and to get a good hook set, then control the bass near the boat. 6'6" to 7' jig/worm rods are ideal for this presentation.
