WdyCrankbait Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Hey everyone, I found some fishing line that I got I really, really like,,,,,,,,,yeah, lets just say a long time ago! Like 8 years, and I love this line. It is Yo-Zuri X-Tex finesse line. Wondering if it is still good, probably not, but just curious. It has been spooled up on the Yo-Zuri spool in the box indoors the whole time. Thanks, Wdy Quote
Super User Marty Posted February 11, 2014 Super User Posted February 11, 2014 I don't know anything about that particular line, but I've had lines such as Stren and Trilene XL last for many years under proper storage conditions. Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted February 11, 2014 Super User Posted February 11, 2014 I would think it'd be fine to use. If it's not chalky and or brittle I'd say go for it. Quote
Super User Tywithay Posted February 11, 2014 Super User Posted February 11, 2014 Grab off a few feet and try to break it. If the line is spoiled, it will snap pretty easily. Quote
