Solution mjseverson24 Posted February 10, 2014 Solution Posted February 10, 2014 i guess that depends on what other rods you have. it has a great blank with the scIII graphite, good micro guides. if it is one of your most sensitive rods I would use it for bottom contact jigs/trigs, if its middle of the pack I would go spinnerbait/c-rig/football jig. if its one of your lowest end rods use it for frogs and buzzbaits in light to moderate cover. Super User Hooligan Posted February 10, 2014 Super User Posted February 10, 2014 That rod, technically, is built around fishing swim jigs. It's not ideal for spinnerbaits and the like, it's just too fast. It's a great jig rod up to 1/2 ounce. I prefer my plastics rods a little slower than that specific rod, but it will work for that, as well. 1 Quote
