I would have to go with Green pumpkin or White both in a half ounce. The way i like to fish them on the ohio river and seems to work quite well. First i let it fall then snap the rod tip to give it more of a aggresive behavoir. Second ill just use like a regular swimbait slow rolling and occasionally ill give it a few quick turns of the reel, then back to slow rolling. Works for me on the ohio river hopefully maybe this helps

White/Chartreuse and Black and Blue cant go wrong works in almost every water condition ........I also like brown with a gold blade for those clear water sunny days.......I like to trailer my chatter baits with a swim bait or a twin tailed grub.....The swim bait trailer will produce larger fish on most occasions.

I really like the D&M Piranha in the bluegill color.  Imo nothing beats it when it comes to bladed swim jigs.

I've caught some serious quality fish on Blakemore's Rock'N-Runner, it's one of my favorite lures. It's also the only chatterbait I've seen with a willow blade attached, which I like. A bit hard to find, BPS doesn't carry it but Cabelas does. I've heard a lot about people throwing black/blue chatterbaits, but I've only caught fish on white or white/chartreuse. Come to think of it I may give firetiger a try this spring... tight lines!

I used a Z-Man Chatterfrog for a couple days with good results and I decided right then and there to start making my own, and have ever since.   I've stuck with bluegilly or sunfishy colors.

Love that bait pictured above. Looks great

I'm like you, for some reason, I stick to the bream, bluegill, sunfish, perch colors. I do pretty good with those patterns.
