Although I respect and admire any talented, well put together solo, I would say this is my bag baby: (@ 2:35) I especially love the 2 lead, dueling, harmonizing type as in that song. And although Poison always kinda got a bad rap, the solo in this one is also well put together. From that guitar-god era, I always thought Slash of G'n'R and Kirk Hammett of Metallica wrote and performed solos that went somewhere. But I'm also a Wes Montgomery fan. And where do I put Frank Zappa? And Neil Young's one-note solo in "Cinnamon Girl" is good one, too. This is big can of worms, man. 1 Quote

Sketches of Spain being the pinnacle of that collaboration. If I had to pick, Hackett's work in Firth of Fifth is groundbreaking. Being primarily a drummer, I get a kick out of Neil, simply because he keeps it linear and articulates to the point that it's not to hard to emulate. Tony Royster Jr. absolutely amazes me. Jaco's Continuum is another that inspires. Quote
