I just received one I ordered last week :

http://www.cabelas.com/product/Fishing/Tackle-Storage/Tackle-Bags%7C/pc/104793480/c/104777280/sc/104619780/Cabelas-Advanced-Anglers-Pro-Series-Tackle-Bags-with-Boxes/703137.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Ffishing-tackle-storage-tackle-bags%2F_%2FN-1100378%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104619780

I got the smallest size as I fish from a kayak, plus I don't like to carry a ton of tackle.

The bag is made of heavy gauge material. As you can see in the photo, the zippers are nice and beefy with molded plastic pulls on them. Even though I went with the smallest one, it's got many of the same features as the larger ones, such as multiple external pockets and a pliers holder. Overall it appears to be a very well made bag.

I went with the Cabela's bag based on my owning their Advanced Angler Series fishing backpack for several years. I had no problems at all with it and was impressed by the quality.

One thing that may be of concern to some, myself included, is that it is not waterproof. This is easily taken care of with a can of Scotchguard or similar waterproofing spray. *note* Cabela's does offer a line of stormproof bags.

I got my bag on sale for $19.99, which included 4 Plano 3500 hinged boxes. The whole lineup is on sale now.

Of course this is not a complete review as I have not used it yet, I'll use it for a season and see how it goes. I have not ever had any issues with Cabela's products, hopefully that will continue.

These bags have been recommended by a number of people on the board so you've got company! Since I standardized on 3600 boxes, I've been looking at the "Large" bag and I should probably get it during this sale. I keep holding back though since I already have several bags that hold 3600 boxes and I fish from the bank or from my canoe and I typically only take with me what I need for that outing so I don't really NEED another bag - but these sure look good!

I've seen that bag and it looks good.  No Cabelas here so I bought a Browning at  BPS, which has been the best bag for me, only sorry I didn't buy the next bigger one.   Using my bags offshore in salt water the zippers don't last, the Browning zippers do.

I own a Large in that series of bags which I've been very pleased with. It's a well-built bag but I can't claim that it's unique in its quality. I bought it because of the number of pockets and pocket configuration, which suited my wants and needs better than anything else I saw, but I already knew that Cabela's products were good.

As an aside, when it was was fairly new a zipper on one of the side pockets broke. I took the bag to a tailor and he told me he could replace the zipper for $12. I then called Cabela's and she asked me if it could be fixed locally. I told her about the estimate and they immediately sent me a check for $12 based on my word; no proof, no receipt, no nothing required. But then Cabela's has always had outstanding customer service . I'd have bought a lot more from them over the years except they never had the selection of BPS.

THATS the service other companies need!

Yes I do. It's not a particularly large bag even though it's called size Large. It's the only tackle storage I use. I remove the shoulder straps when fishing in the canoe or my partner's bass boat and put the straps back on for shore fishing.

Thanks Marty - Since it's "canoe friendly" I should get that bag I guess!
