Super User Jigfishn10 Posted February 26, 2014 Super User Posted February 26, 2014 We are suppose to have a snow over the weekend. Makes me wonder what spring is going to be like, or if we'll go straight into summer. I hear ya bankbeater, we're well below seasonal temps. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted February 26, 2014 Super User Posted February 26, 2014 I have to hope for a somewhat slow and gradual ease into warmer temp associated with Spring. Otherwise . . . . . . A-Jay 1 Quote

Super User Jigfishn10 Posted March 1, 2014 Super User Posted March 1, 2014 Great, it's March 1st and we're getting snow on Monday and overnight lows in the single digits until at least Wednesday. Jack Frost needs to go home! Quote
Super User slonezp Posted March 11, 2014 Super User Posted March 11, 2014 Another 8" of snow predicted for tonight Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted March 11, 2014 Super User Posted March 11, 2014 Another 8" of snow predicted for tonight Thankfully we're dodging that one, but we're supposed to be in the 20's with a low of single digits tomorrow. Today was 59*...go figure. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted March 11, 2014 Super User Posted March 11, 2014 Another 8" of snow predicted for tonight Looks like you're flying solo on this one - it's going to be a good bit south of us. A-Jay Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted March 11, 2014 Super User Posted March 11, 2014 Bwahahahaha Its like 70 degrees down here in the Heart Of Dixie. May have been mid 60s today. Y'all enjoy that white stuff falling from the sky. Quote

Super User slonezp Posted March 20, 2014 Super User Posted March 20, 2014 I'll say this. It's much nicer to look at a fresh snowfall than all the black dirty snow I've been looking at for weeks. 1 Quote
FlipnLimits Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 High temps in the 30's for another full week. I hope the weather man is wrong. Open water will be a full month behind at this rate. FL Quote

I hear that - but I'll take the opposite approach. The sooner we get through the frozen, dirty ice & snow on the road - affectionately called Groad - the sooner we'll be into the open water period. Super User slonezp Posted March 20, 2014 Super User Posted March 20, 2014 It rained yesterday and all but the plowed up piles of snow were melted. Going to be 60* tomorrow Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted March 20, 2014 Super User Posted March 20, 2014 It rained yesterday and all but the plowed up piles of snow were melted. Going to be 60* tomorrow We're warming up ever so slowly. My roof snow is a non-issue at less than 25% so that's a good thing. Still a substantial amount of snow On Top Of whatever the ice on the lakes is at - the hearty souls are still driving and fishing on it though, so whatever the thickness is at, it's enough for the NASCAR Officials. Super User clayton86 Posted March 20, 2014 Super User Posted March 20, 2014 I seen a robin yesterday along with 4 nice fat ground hogs out grazing begging to be shot lol. Both the rivers by me that I catch my small mouth and trout in are both flowing strong right now so another week and I hope to be on the water. I'll give the ground hogs some time before I eradicate them little buggers with the .243. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted April 5, 2014 Super User Posted April 5, 2014 We've also seen our first pair of robins the other day but I'm betting when they woke up this morning. they were none to happy. I know we weren't . . . . A-Jay Quote
Super User slonezp Posted April 5, 2014 Super User Posted April 5, 2014 I dropped the boat off at the mechanic today to get a few things done. He said the ice on their lake was gone as of yesterday and they were putting the piers in today. My home lake still has ice. Sunny and 50* today. I think we're done with winter finally. Got my fingers crossed. 1 Quote
