So I was bidding on a Curado 50e on EBay, I got outbid days ago and the auction just ended. The ending price for a "new" no box Curado 50e was $182.50 not including the $8 shipping!

$190.50?

Wow. My Chronarch 50e was less than that on ebay!

I've bought them nib for $99 it would be hard to pay double that for one.

Bought mine on closeout for $98.  I might go $130-$140 shipped for a NIB 51E, but no way that much.  BTW, mind telling us what your bid was?  Just curious as to how much you think a new one is worth.

I don't care how anybody slices it, if there's no box it ain't new anymore.

For that price maybe I should throw some on ebay for a good return :D

I bid $125.99 and figured it may go for $132 tops. Thats$140 shipped.

The add said new in box but it only had one picture of the reel and it was not in a box?

You have pm!

J/k but I have been watching some 201e's on eBay and they are going for 190ish. Seems crazy. I picked up a Chronarch 201e for 140 shipped NIB which I thought was fair.

Check that out in a day or two, I'll bet it is listed again. I've witnessed it happen a lot when guys have shills to prop up the price of an item, sometimes the shill gets over zealous and ends up going higher than the retail price and the seller gets stuck with it.
