Super User Hi Salenity Posted February 4, 2014 Super User Posted February 4, 2014 So I was bidding on a Curado 50e on EBay, I got outbid days ago and the auction just ended. The ending price for a "new" no box Curado 50e was $182.50 not including the $8 shipping! $190.50? Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted February 4, 2014 Super User Posted February 4, 2014 Somebody really likes the color green... 1 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted February 4, 2014 Super User Posted February 4, 2014 Wow. My Chronarch 50e was less than that on ebay! Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted February 4, 2014 Author Super User Posted February 4, 2014 I've bought them nib for $99 it would be hard to pay double that for one. Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted February 4, 2014 Super User Posted February 4, 2014 Bought mine on closeout for $98. I might go $130-$140 shipped for a NIB 51E, but no way that much. BTW, mind telling us what your bid was? Just curious as to how much you think a new one is worth. Quote
panhardbar Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I just bought 2 on eBay a month ago for $140 each... top dollar, but I fell in love with my chronarch 51E's so I figured I'd get the green version. I love the green. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted February 4, 2014 Super User Posted February 4, 2014 I don't care how anybody slices it, if there's no box it ain't new anymore. For that price maybe I should throw some on ebay for a good return Quote

The add said new in box but it only had one picture of the reel and it was not in a box? Quote
Super User *Hootie Posted February 4, 2014 Super User Posted February 4, 2014 Somebody really likes the color green... Goose, I gotta tell ya, after this Winter crammed full of snow here in Cincinnati, I can't to see some green. I LOVE GREEN!....lol. Hootie 1 Quote
Super User Tywithay Posted February 4, 2014 Super User Posted February 4, 2014 Some folks will overpay for anything. That reel isn't worth $190, especially when you can find them cheaper. Quote
John G Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 It's worth what someone is willing to pay on that particular day. Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted February 4, 2014 Super User Posted February 4, 2014 First person to send me a PM can have my Curado 50e for $190! 1,2,3....GO! Quote
msk Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 You have pm! J/k but I have been watching some 201e's on eBay and they are going for 190ish. Seems crazy. I picked up a Chronarch 201e for 140 shipped NIB which I thought was fair. Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted February 4, 2014 Super User Posted February 4, 2014 Check that out in a day or two, I'll bet it is listed again. I've witnessed it happen a lot when guys have shills to prop up the price of an item, sometimes the shill gets over zealous and ends up going higher than the retail price and the seller gets stuck with it. Nice_Bass Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 wow...I have a curado 50e with box still...guess I should sell. Quote
Smallmouth Hunter Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I see people buy curado 50e's for 150-175 on forums and it drives me crazy.. Then I see the curado 200e for like 110-120.. Quote
