MaineBassFishin Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Im heading down to Naples the last week in Feb, bringing rods and a bunch of tackle down. I'm bringing a wide range of stuff, but anything specific I should focus on? EDIT, leaving on Thursday, how's the fishing in the Naples area doing? What's producing at the moment? Quote
MaineBassFishin Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 Gambler Big EZ Never really fished swimbaits much, how's it rigged? How much weight, if any? Quote

One more question about the swimbaits, what colors tend to produce the best in the south? I'll be fishing small ponds if tht matters. Quote

Will a 7'3" MH do, or will I need a 7'6" H Flipping stick? Wasn't planning on bringing the flipping rod but if I have to I will. I plan on using either weightless hooks or 1/4 with these. Quote

For me, I fish exclusively from the bank and retention type ponds, MH is fine, light pads, grass, hydrilla, no problem. But that isn't like the stuff in say the glades or chobee. 1 Quote
