I really enjoy my kayak fishing here in NC. However I wonder if there is like a bass "expedition" or bass "excursion" around. A good drive to somewhere in NC would be okay or even a flight to somewhere. Just something kinda like I did at Disney World, but less expensive and more concentrated on bass.

Maybe something along the lines of a Saturday 8 hour day on a bass boat with a guide.

Is there such a thing? Almost like a deep sea fishing trip, but lake based.

Did a quick search and found a guy about 30 minutes from me. $250 for four hours and $350 for eight hours. Has a guarantee if you get skunked, you go again the next day for free. He does it all 12 months. Says he goes out in his tournament bass boat.

Is there a " comments"  list on his website? Be interesting to hear what other customers have to say about his guiding style. Too many guides today hand you a rod with an easy to use bait like a crank or a spinner bait and then you sit in the back of the boat and pay to watch him fish. Also, don't forget, there is the expected 10-15% tip too so your $350 becomes $385-400. Good Luck ,I hope you get a great guide and have a great day fishing.

Ok. So basically I can fly down from NC, rent a car, and be able to fish on a bass boat with you all? I have never done this before and interested in doing so. I obviously can't bring my kayak down there for such a long trip especially with other bass boats. ( hopefully I will get my first bass boat the end of this year). However until then I would love to do the road trip. However if I do it I may feel like a lost puppy with just myself and a rental car. :-)
