Super User .RM. Posted December 29, 2010 Super User Posted December 29, 2010 First off, Mods, im sorry if this is the wrong section, but this is where I guessed it should go.Now as for my question, how many tackle boxes/bags do you own? I ask because I recently just filled up my Stalker bag to the brim (It barely zips!) and while they're on sale now, I have just enough to pick up another Stalker bag (Man, I LOVE [ch9829] these bags!). I dont have enough for a rod or reel, so i'll be spending my last amount of money on tackle/tackle bag. My logic in getting another bag though is, im going to buy the house before I buy the furniture. Being why buy tackle if you have nowhere to store it? So i'll buy another Stalker bag, and slowly fill that one up with tackle because I dont have any more room in my current one. And the Stalkers are a steal right now at $32! I highly recommend you pick one up too! But how many bags do you have, and do you think my logic in getting another bag is good logic? I have 15 bags in all, each set-up to a specific lake/technique, and species...Buy what you need......... Tight Lines!!! Quote
The one that got away Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I have the BPS Stalker bag with six 3700 style boxes and two 3600 size boxes on either end. That fits more than I need. If I can't find something in there that will catch a fish, that would mean I suck at fishing and should take up golf or do something else. So, no I don't see the need for more than one bag unless you have one for saltwater, one for pike/muskie, etc. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 29, 2010 Super User Posted December 29, 2010 20-25 3700 size boxes, some deep, some shallow. 20-25 3600 size boxes, again some deep, some shallow various FTO bags and wallets a few Falcon terminal boxes, in big and small four or five tackle bags in various sizes, and a milk crate for the kayaks Quote
MonarkMcfaster Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I have 3. I keep all my confidence baits in one and it stays in the boat, I will resupply as needed. The 2nd I keep all my soft plastics in and it mainly stays in the boats as well. The 3rd I keep new lures and such in it...I will take it out and go through and pack what all I think I may need or something that might be productive for the water/conditions I will be fishing in. NateFollmer Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 3 My bag for shore fishing/wading My Plano box (that Guide Series one that sit's up and has the drawers) for the boat (the bag comes on the boat too) My junker tackle box that sits in the basement with the 'overflow' baits. If you count my fly boxes... Make that 8 HAHA Quote
Quillback Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Wow, I was worried because I have about 30 3700 boxes. I thought I might end up being featured on one of those "Hoarder" reality shows. But I'm glad to see that some of you guys have a lot more stuff than I do. Then there's all the spools of line, rods, reels, and miscellaneous stuff. And the boat.. And the truck to tow the boat.. Scorcher214 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I got the Stalker tackle backpack from BPS. It holds 8 3600s. Then i have like 4 extra 3600s. I also have a really big tackle bag from BPS, i dont use it cuz i shore fish a lot and it's a pain to carry it. Quote
