First off, Mods, im sorry if this is the wrong section, but this is where I guessed it should go.

Now as for my question, how many tackle boxes/bags do you own? I ask because I recently just filled up my Stalker bag to the brim (It barely zips!) and while they're on sale now, I have just enough to pick up another Stalker bag (Man, I LOVE [ch9829] these bags!).

I dont have enough for a rod or reel, so i'll be spending my last amount of money on tackle/tackle bag. My logic in getting another bag though is, im going to buy the house before I buy the furniture. Being why buy tackle if you have nowhere to store it? So i'll buy another Stalker bag, and slowly fill that one up with tackle because I dont have any more room in my current one.

And the Stalkers are a steal right now at $32!

I highly recommend you pick one up too!

But how many bags do you have, and do you think my logic in getting another bag is good logic?

I only have one, but it is packed, especially now after Christmas.  I am considering getting one of those worm bag to hold all my soft plastics, that will free up a bunch of space for more boxes with hard baits.

just checked the BPS website and they are sold out online ;)

I wish I had known about this earlier, I would have for sure bought one.

And I picked my bag up in-store. They usually still have them their even when sold out on-line 8-)

I have two backpacks.

1. An old Standard issue USMC ALICE pack (holds about 5-6 3700s)

2. Jansport backpack that I have filled with the "loaner" tackle.

Too much tackle for a box or a bag. It all resides in an old entertainment center. How do you guys like using a backpack to carry your stuff? Anybody use one made for fishing tackle like the one they sell at ***?

I have the XPS Stalker, which is like a modified backpack, but not a true one like the TW one. I love mine :-*

If you shore fish, I think a tackle bag you can wear on your back is a must, especially if you move spots alot. You barely even feel its there, and is nice while riding bikes.

I have one tackle bag that holds 9 plano's. I rarely use it unless Im back seating for a day. I have about 60 plano boxes on shelves in my garage. In addition I have another 5 cabinet size units with 30 drawers full of tackle, and another 120 pegs on pegboard around the garage.

My opinion is if you can only carry one bag with gear why get another bag. I use a day pak, book bag when walking the bank.

i havent even attempted to count my boxs or bags lol lets just say i ran out of room in my normal storage room at my camp so i had to convert one of the bedrooms and turn it into a second tackle room.. i keep rubbermaid and ULINE in business lol

I keep 1 for salt water and 1 for fresh water. I also have a USMC Medic's Bag that I'll load up with things I need to have in easy reach for a specific day on the water.

Having more is fun, but I end up forgetting what's in there... ;)

I like my systems.

1 Browning bag for saltwater trolling and drift fishing,  1st bag with zippers that don't deteriorate.

Fanny pack with 5 plastic lure boxes for saltwater inshore, each box hold 2-4 spoons, jerkbaits, top baits and jigs, 20-40 back lures in my car

Freshwater, use old xrap boxes with 2 or 3 lures per box, carrying in my pocket, I don't take much with me.

i have one bag with many planos in it. i dont bring all of my lures with me. most stay home in plastic drawers or hang on a pegboard.

my other box is for salt water fishing...

I have the discontinued Falcon FTO V6 tackle bag. You cannot find it anymore, but it works better than any other bag I have used before. It stores all of my crankbait boxes and terminal tackle great.

I also have two of the FTO worm speedbags that work great for all of my plastics ;D

I have one bag but its huge.  I got the XL boat bag and have 7 falcon boxes and I keep all my plastics in original packages inside of big ziploc bags sorted by creature, lizard, trailers, etc.  I am usually a non boater and this suits me just right.  Big enough to have what i need.

i got my main grab and go bag which holds most of my tackle, then i have my boat bag which is like an overflow if im fishing on a boat or tournament. i have other organizers and i just put in and take out what i need. i am going to get a cheap medium sized duffle if i need to take a lot of tackle

Personally, I'd pick up a few Plano boxes and remove some of the lures you don't use very often from your primary tackle box.

I have a Cabela's series bat that holds 3 3600 boxes (i only have two) and 8 3700 boxes (i only have 6).  I leave extra room for any extra stuff i need to go fishing for the whole day.  It is heavy so it usually stays in the bed of my truck when I fish.  This is my main bass bag.

I recently put together a smaller bag that I use when I fish the river.  It is mostly cheaper baits that I don't mind loosing to snag or a pike.  I also use this bag when I have to walk to get to my fishin spot.

4 Bags ( various sizes )

Numerous 3600 and 3700 boxes

4 Tackle boxes ( various sizes )

A big bunch of shoe box size plastic containers stuffed with fishing stuff ( mostly soft plastics )

I have one BassPro Super Magnum as a boat bag and my main storage.  If I'm going out with someone else or shore fishing I offload a few boxes into a smaller bag.
