I'm always surprised when I hear folks say they like a big refund, or worse, they think its found money.

Well, you must factor in the people who virtually dont work yet somehow walk away with about $8000 they never paid into that. The average working person should never have a refund, but I personally would rather overpay then under.

Yes those are bonus checks for them......................and oh yes I overpay every year because I have travelled that other road of under payment once and it is a VERY bumpy road indeed!

IRS and state corporate taxes are done and paid.

County Intangible taxes paid.

State licenses renewed.

Now personal taxes to be done.

I hate everyone right now.

Really would like to use some to get a chartplotter to use in the boat...  My wife always refocuses my priorities - we are paying off our first adoption and hope to adopt again this year so that's what ours will be going toward.. So in a way all of it will be used to get me a future fishing buddy!!!

Tax refund?

Giving Uncle Sam an interest-free loan is not on my agenda  :-)

Mines going towards sheetrock and insulation for my dinningroom...wooohoo :dazed-7:  I might see if I can sneak a curado g or chronarch in depending on their clearance prices.

On a sidenote taxes are what I do for a living.  Uncle Sam really likes it when you are married with young children, thats where my refund comes from.

Make up your mind.  Are you a seller or a giver?  With my habit, I REALLY need a giver.

Depends on how much I get back but I'm guessing it'll be a pretty good chunk lol

You guys can just sign the checks over to me if you like.  If I get one I'll be using mine to increase my inventory.

Ron

mine will probably end in your hands! I need a trolling motor and a jerkbait combo.

None, I don't lend the Government money.

I am the same way....i can save the money myself and make more off of it in a 1% interest bearing account than i can by giving it up and getting nothing in return.

Some of mine is going to you, I need a couple of Dobyns, maybe 3, and maybe new reels to go with them. I actually just got some new reels, but im not sure if I want something better or not.

Refund? That'd be nice. Self-employed here, can't remember my last refund. We try to balance out so we come close to breaking even with what we've payed the gov vs. what we have to pay. But usually end up owing something.

Same here, I like to be right at zero, but if I have to write a small check, I'm good. I really don't like to see a refund, I guess if I was in the "tax credits" bracket I'd be circling stuff on the BPS catalog too..

ps: Did anyone see the typo on the $tella$' prices on the Cabela's catalog, cheaper than Sustains...

None, I use my returns to top up my mutual funds every year so when I retire at 45, not only will I have my pension, I'll have tons of money just sitting around aswell.

Although I'm sure I'll buy some stuff (like I really need it), none is earmarked as fun money.  Hope to pay off more of the mortgage.
